We specialize in complex business insolvency matters with a special focus on Chapter 11, Creditors’ and Debtors’ Rights, and Workouts and Restructurings.

Licensed to practice before all state and federal Hawai’i courts, the U.S. Bankruptcy court, the U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court, we specialize in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration; commercial disputes, including real estate, tax and trusts and estates; and complex litigation, especially for bankruptcy and commercial transaction disputes.  We also assist clients with contested case and administrative proceedings.

We regularly represent clients, including domestic and foreign businesses, developers, contractors, financial institutions, and individuals in business reorganizations, bankruptcy cases, workouts, restructuring, foreclosures, collection and eviction litigation, fraudulent transfer cases, loan workouts, and other related types of litigation in Hawai’i state and federal courts.
